Radisson Hotel Varanasi

The property is conveniently located at Varanasi Cantonment. The check in was smooth and businesslike. The room was adequately appointed, clean and with neat linen. The bathroom was also clean and adequate, though a tad cramped.

The buffet breakfast was nice, the spa gym and pool area was nice. The cookies and lemon water upon arrival was refreshing and lobby was very elegant and luxurious. The concierge people were very kind to us, the lobby lounge and bar was closed during to our visit so was the club lounge. The food was very good and the room service food was also tasty the hotel allowed outside food to be eaten in hotel premises. The rooms were spacious and elegant offering a city view. The hotel had sprawling lawns and was gated. The hotel had a banquet hall and 3 meeting rooms and really clean toilets with a spacious lobby. The hotel had a shopping arcade, library, business centre, a contemporary wine bar, a sophisticated specialty restaurant known in the city for its mouthwatering kebabs, and then East West the all day dining restaurant which featured a buffet during dinner and breakfast. During dinner there was also the option of dining a la carte, room service was available 24/7. There was also valet and enough car parking. The theme of the hotel was classy yet contemporary and elegant, with beautiful paintings hanging on corridors and decor representing of Varanasi. The stay was very cultural with local food options available in the breakfast buffet such as puri. There was also several hot dishes an egg station, a dosa station, multiple shakes and juices, fresh fruit a patisserie section. Everything was good quality they even offered masala tea! The AC in the room worked really well, and the room was fitted with high quality furnishings. We were even offered interconnecting rooms. The sauna and steam room along with gym offered a really nice tough, with the pool being temperature controlled, even though the property was showing a bit of age, it’s a must visit and value for money. It’s location is a bit far from the attractions but the experience makes it worth it.

Dining was very good Room initially was very dirty fungus behind the curtains and pigeon dump in windows but then the manager quickly changed us to a better room. I felt all these hotels tend to give the not so good rooms to online bookings

There was this worker who worked at the in-house Sari shop - Gaurav. I am so glad that I met this guy. He really went over and above to make my stay amazing. The hotel should appoint him has the tour guide for the hotel. He really takes such good care of you and makes certain that the local don't rob you or take advantage of you.

The overall property was excellent . The duty manager ( Mr Mukesh Yadav) and his team Mr Virendra were exceptional in their service . They took care of all our needs and courteous
